Julie Delpy is spending 2 Days in New York

Channeling both Woody Allen & the Richard Linklater films that made her famous, Julie Delpy is releasing the sequel to her 2007 writing / directing / producing mini-hit 2 Days in Paris. Different relationship, same character, same talky urban comedy. I like Delpy & I like that she is writing, & directing, producing & composing her own movies.

In between Paris & New York, Delpy wrote / directed / etc a very different kind of beast, a curious biographical costume horror that I would love to get my hands on. The Countess recounts the strange tale of Countess Bathory, a true-life villainous noble who tried to preserve her youth by bathing in the blood of young girls she had killed.
